Health Care Luncheon with Congressman Joe Barton
After Obamacare—A Congressional Forum for Businesses and Health Care Providers
The Waxahachie Chamber of Commerce is pleased to host a luncheon with Congressman Joe Barton, Vice-Chairman of the House Energy & Commerce Committee. Congressman Barton will discuss health care concerns and possible reforms. He will seek feedback that he can take back to Congress as they weigh various proposals to repeal and replace or repair the Affordable Care Act. The House Energy & Commerce Committee and specifically Congressman Barton will have a significant role in determining what happens next in health care reform, so this very important meeting will serve as your chance to let him know your concerns and ideas. If you are a business facing insurance and health care challenges, a health care provider with concerns about the Affordable Care Act or what comes next, or a consumer with concerns about either the present or the future of health care, join the Chamber and Congressman Barton for this discussion. You will have an opportunity to share your thoughts on this free-wheeling discussion and talk about how health care is affecting your business.
