DESCRIPTION:The lineup of performers is emerging for Chautauqua's October 8th look at COWBOY POETRY. It will be a full day (7:30am-5:30pm) of cowboy poetry and music\, all presented free by the Chautauqua Preservation Society. Waxahachie native David Smith\, who is himself an honored cowboy poet\, is busy putting together a stellar program of poets and musicians from across the Southwest and beyond.\n\n\n\nAdditionally\, two popular programs from Chautauqua's past will add to the excitement on Oct. 8:  Birds of Prey Demos & Trash Can Transformation.
