DESCRIPTION:The Ellis County Art Association will be hosting Karla Brady Massingill\, Texas artist\, at the monthly meeting\, Oct. 7 at First Baptist Church of Waxahachie (450 US287 BYP). The public is encouraged to attend.\n\nKarla Brady is an Oklahoma native\, now living in Texas. She works in both oils and watercolors and both states provide plenty of rural scenes and wide-open spaces\, her favorite subjects. She is a member of Outdoor Painters Society\, Trinity Arts Guild and Ellis County Art Association and has participated in numerous juried shows.\n\nThe meeting at FBC is open to everyone and begins at 6 p.m. with refreshments and socializing. Announcements and business will start at 6:30 and the Demo will begin at 6:45 p.m.
