Join us in family fun for all ages as we transform dozens of trash cans into works of Art. We will have several professional artists that are eager to teach and guide anyone who wants to participate. \;
\n\nThis event will be held during the Chautauqua Assembly Sept. 28\, 2019\, at Getzendaner Memorial Park in Waxahachie.
\n\nAll ages and skill levels are welcome. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult.

\n\nWHAT: \; Paint a trash cash! \; Paint and paint supplies will be provided for the artists.
\n\nWHEN: \; \;Saturday\, September 28\, 2019\, 8 am &ndash\; 4 pm\, at the same time as the Waxahachie Chautauqua
\n\nWHERE: \; \;Getzendaner Memorial Park in Waxahachie\, TX. \;
\n\nWHO CAN PAINT: Anyone! \; All ages and skill levels welcome.
\n\nHOW TO PAINT A TRASH CAN:

\n1 &ndash\; RESERVE one unpainted trash can for Sept. 28 by contacting us at info@WaxahachieChautauqua.org. \; Tell us your name &\; contact info - email or phone#. \;
\n(If you are under 10\, tell us your adult&rsquo\;s contact info.)
\n
\n2 &ndash\; SHOW UP on Sat. Sept. 28 ready to paint. Paint and painting supplies available 8am-4pm.
\n
\n3 &ndash\; PAINT! \; \; \;
A FEW RULES:
\n1 &ndash\; All painting will be done in the park on Sept. 28\, 8am-4pm.
\n2 - You may either bring your own paint &\; supplies or use those provided at the park.
\n3 &ndash\; No spray paint is allowed in the tent area.
\n4 &ndash\; Art must be family-friendly and cannot include advertising. \; \;
\n5 - Artists under 10 must be accompanied by an adult while they are painting.
\n6 &ndash\; If you don&rsquo\;t reserve a trash can ahead of Sept. 28\, we hope (but can&rsquo\;t guarantee) to have extra cans available for last-minute painters.
WHAT HAPPENS TO YOUR PAINTED TRASH CAN? \;
\nAll painted trash cans will end up beautifying one of Waxahachie&rsquo\;s parks\, beginning in Getzendaner Park!
