Art Demo at EC Art Association Meeting

Artist Couple to Demonstrate Painting at ECAA February Meeting

Featured in the Bosque Art Classic in Clifton last fall, married artists Phil and Margie Whittington will serve as the Demo artists at the monthly meeting of The Ellis County Art Association, Feb. 2 at First Baptist Church of Waxahachie (450 US287 BYP). The public is encouraged to attend.

High school sweethearts married more than 50 years, the Whittingtons are active Plein Air painters and members of "Urban Sketchers" in Fort Worth. Margie has made a career in art, painting and teaching watercolor. Phil has always enjoyed art and decided a few years ago to take up painting, too. The couple will demonstrate their approach to watercolor.

The meeting at FBC is open to everyone and begins at 6 p.m. with refreshments and socializing. Announcements and business will start at 6:30 and the Demo will begin at 6:45 p.m. Free to attend and open to the public.
