Farm Heritage Day
The Ellis County Rural Heritage Farm's headline event of the year. Farm Animals, Farm Vendors, Hayrides, Outdoor Games, Farming Living History Activities of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Live music by the Lone Star State Dulcimer Society. Learn about the impact and advent of Rural Free Delivery (RFD) coming to isolated rural farm families as it connected rural Texas. Enjoy tours of the restored 1913 farm house, a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark.
