Local Artist Featured at EC Art Association

Artist Tammy Wascovich will demonstrate the art of stenciling at the April 6 meeting at First Baptist Church of Waxahachie (450 US 287 Bypass). The event is open to the public.

Wascovich will guide attendees through creating an original stencil design, from developing a template to transferring the image onto paper or fabric. Her demonstration will include stencil cutting techniques, selecting appropriate inks or paints and applying them for a clean, professional finish.

The meeting at FBC begins at 6 p.m. with refreshments and social time, followed by announcements and business at 6:30 p.m. The demonstration will start at 6:45 p.m.
