We are excited to open the doors of Baylor Scott & White Center for Bariatric Surgery – Waxahachie. Our bariatric surgery team includes Mazen Iskandar, MD, FACS, Watson Roye, MD and Timothy Kelly, MD. All three are board-certified general surgeons specializing in minimally invasive bariatric surgery.

We provide services at the accredited bariatric center of excellence at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Waxahachie where we focus on addressing obesity with modern treatment strategies taking into consideration the different characteristics of each individual.
 

We offer both medical and surgical weight loss options. Our multidisciplinary team includes nurses, educators and dietitians who work closely with psychologists, gastroenterologists, endocrinologists, cardiologists, pulmonologists and primary care physicians on a case-by-case basis.

With the use of advanced tools and newer techniques, we are able to utilize minimally invasive methods to treat our bariatric patients in order to minimize pain, hasten recovery, and improve quality of life.
