October is national domestic abuse awareness month and we will gather at the courthouse to walk a mile in honor of survivors of domestic abuse in Ellis County. There were over 1000 cases of domestic abuse in our county in 2021 alone. You can register to walk with us here. We are also asking business to sponsor the event.
