Joe began his professional career as an Assistant Criminal District Attorney in Navarro County, Texas. He was subsequently hired as an Assistant County and District Attorney for Ellis County, Texas. Following his tenure in the Ellis County District Attorney's Office, Joe entered private practice which was devoted exclusively to criminal law. Joe also served for five years as the Municipal Court Judge for the City of Waxahachie. He has jury trial experience at all criminal punishment ranges: from simple misdemeanors to Capital Murder. Joe, a former Chairman of the Board for the Waxahachie Chamber of Commerce, was recently elected to serve as Ellis County Court at Law #3. This newly established misdemeanor criminal court, will officially begin on January 1, 2021.
