Southbound Tattoo

I’m Alex Freeman, owner of Southbound Tattoo in downtown Waxahachie. I’ve been tattooing since 2007, and my focus is bold, custom work and a professional, welcoming experience for every client who walks through our doors.

Southbound has been voted Best Tattoo & Piercing Shop in the Waxahachie Sun Star Awards, and I’m proud of the team and culture we’ve built around quality, safety, and hospitality.

Outside the shop, I stay active in the community through IOOF Waxahachie #80, downtown commissions, and local events like Hachie Gras. Whether I’m tattooing, mentoring artists, or helping plan community events, my goal is the same: to do solid work, treat people right, and help Waxahachie grow as a place people are proud to call home.
