CASA of Ellis County proudly celebrated 20 years of incredible service and dedication to the foster children in our community! Guests joined us for a tour of their facility to learn more about the CASA mission and explored opportunities to make a difference with the CASA Kiddos!
When a child enters the foster care system because their home is no longer safe, a judge may appoint a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) to represent their best interests. CASA volunteers are highly trained and screened to ensure they can effectively advocate for the child within the child protection system. Founded in 1977, CASA is a national volunteer movement with over 1,000 programs nationwide and 74 in Texas. CASA of Ellis County is proud to be a member of both the National and Texas CASA Associations.
