Dr. Gilmore values family and treats each patient with the same care he would want for his own children. After six years in minor league baseball, he pursued medicine, completing his undergraduate degree at Dallas Baptist University, medical school at the University of Iowa, and pediatric residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. With a large family and children of his own, providing family-centered care is a top priority, and he loves the long-term relationships pediatrics allows. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and children, reading, working out, and participating in church activities.
