Amber Adams, owner of The Velvet Angel, opened her boutique in 2004. Adams was already living in Waxahachie but was still working in Dallas. She wanted to work near home and get to know her community. After her son was born, opening her business in town created an opportunity to spend more time with him.Adams believes that selection and service sets The Velvet Angel apart from other businesses like it.
