Pipe Brazing Asociate
PIPING/BRAZING ASSOCIATE
Monday - Thursday
6:00 am - 4:00 pm
$17.00 - $22.00 per hour
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Perform torch brazing on copper, brass, and steel piping in accordance with ASME C3.4 standards
- Assemble, fit, and fabricate welded pipe assemblies and refrigeration piping systems
- Read and interpret piping schematics, blueprints, and manufacturing specifications
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment safely and accurately
- Assemble and disassemble valve assemblies and piping components
- Inspect finished work to ensure quality and compliance with specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and work instructions
- Troubleshoot issues and resolve mechanical or assembly problems as needed
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1–3 years of experience in piping, brazing, HVAC, or related field
- Proficiency in copper pipe fitting and fabrication
- Ability to read mechanical and electrical prints
- AWS C3.4 certification preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks (standing, bending, lifting, reaching)
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
