CHANGING LIVES THROUGH HORSES!
Bridle Up Hope is an Equine-Assisted Learning experience (EAL) designed to help all girls and women, ages 12 and older. It is especially geared towards those who struggle with anxiety, depression, abuse, or trauma--or who have simply lost hope.
Girls and women develop critical life skills through "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People", principles which are integrated into their horse riding lessons and service at the barn. Research shows that 7 Habits are powerful tools to teach problem solving, positive peer interactions, self-leadership, whole-person wellness, and how to achieve personal goals.
Over 90% of our parents say the Bridle Up Hope program significantly transformed their daughter's life!
Since it's inception, Bridle Up Hope has transformed the lives of over 1000 girls and women, many coming from low-income backgrounds. We measure impact with the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale 10©, a validated assessment from researchers at Duke University. Resilience is one of the strongest predictors of success in life, and upon completing our program, our graduates report an average 22% improvement in resilience, which is very significant.
Bridle Up Hope Texas, is part of a network of Bridle Up Hope locations across the world who share a common mission to bring hope and healing to women who are struggling with challenges in live.
